Thirty years at Verdane.
Knight. Veteran of twenty sieges. The castle never fell on my watch. Hold that thought.
Webnite is game-based cyber security training. Our first release covers the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) exam. Network+ and further certifications arrive in the next titles, same format: short lessons, hand-built minigames, live practice.
I have fought dragons. This is worse.
Sir Alaric of Webnite · Narrator · Employed by EagerHQ
Knight. Veteran of twenty sieges. The castle never fell on my watch. Hold that thought.
The royal wizard's Time Displacement Device. Reality apologised. I was in London.
Ransomware. Phishing. Password files titled definitely not my passwords.
Firewalls were my castle walls. Malware were the dragons. Same battle, new weapons.
Controls, threats, tactics. The trial they call Security+ is your knighthood. Begin.
Each section of the current syllabus is broken into short, self-contained lessons. They run in the browser on any device. No install, no deadline, no scheduled cohort. The same format carries across future titles.
A two-minute narrative sets the scene. One of Sir Alaric's medieval anecdotes, mapped directly to the concept you are about to learn.
The concept laid out in plain English with a purpose-drawn infographic. Fully voiced and captioned. No jargon that has not already been defined.
A minigame built specifically for that concept. Sort controls into towers. Judge a message. Inspect a forged signature. Not a multiple-choice quiz.
In-character feedback on every answer, right or wrong. XP and rank progress update, and the section ticks off on the kingdom map.
Webnite is built around the actual certification objectives, but the delivery is purpose-built gameplay. Here is what is in the box today.
Each section opens with a narrative arc. Concepts arrive through medieval scenarios that map one-to-one onto the exam objective.
Structured · 5 minCastle defense for controls, the CIA tribunal for the triad, signature inspection for non-repudiation. Every lesson has its own.
Bespoke gameplaySir Alaric narrates every lesson in character. Audio plays by default and can be toggled off. Captions are always on screen.
Audio + captionsMatch another learner for a three-round race on real exam content. Bot fallback keeps practice available whenever the queue is quiet.
MultiplayerXP, ranks, and completed sections sync to your account across devices. Try a lesson first and sign up only if you want to save progress.
Cross-device syncRuns in the browser on mobile and desktop. Designed mobile-first. An installable version arrives with our next release.
iOS · Android · DesktopOur first title covers the full CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) syllabus, organised into five domains. Each one becomes a region on the kingdom map with its own story arc, gameplay mechanics, and final trial. Domain 1 is available today.
Controls, the CIA triad, authentication & authorisation, non-repudiation, zero trust, physical security, and cryptography basics.
Threat actors, attack vectors, malware families, social engineering, application and network vulnerabilities, hardening techniques.
Enterprise architecture, cloud & virtualisation, network design, identity, data protection, and resilience patterns.
Secure baseline, monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, digital forensics, and security awareness.
Governance, risk management, third-party risk, compliance, audits, and privacy. The paperwork that keeps the castle standing.
Training alone only takes you so far. The Arena pairs you with another learner for a three-round race on real exam content. Useful for cohort study groups, team warm-ups, or just proving you remember how AAA actually works.
Queue waits roughly five seconds for another learner. If no-one's available, a bot opponent fills in so you're never left waiting.
Runs on the same minigames as lessons: controls, CIA, non-repudiation. No new content to learn. First correct answer wins the round.
Wins earn more; losses and draws still count as practice. Progress syncs to your account so team scoreboards stay honest.
Cyber security certifications are the baseline for most SOC, infrastructure, and IT roles. Webnite turns the prep from a back-of-the-book slog into something a team will actually finish. Suitable for cohorts, onboarding tracks, and annual upskilling budgets.
See who's active, who's stalled, and where each learner is in the syllabus. Export progress reports for L&D or compliance records.
Private matchmaking pools for internal tournaments, new-hire ice-breakers, or just making Friday afternoon mildly more interesting.
Per-seat pricing with annual invoicing, POs accepted. SSO on request (SAML / Google / Microsoft). Hosted in the UK & EU.
CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) available today. CompTIA Network+, CySA+, and internal compliance modules (phishing, data handling, AUP) on the roadmap for team customers.
Best suited to IT, SOC, and engineering teams preparing for cyber security certifications as part of onboarding, promotion criteria, or UK government / NIST role requirements.
Webnite is in early access. Individual use is free during this phase. Team plans and enterprise agreements are quoted per seat. No seat minimum, no annual lock-in to start.
All current lessons, the Arena, rank progression. No credit card required. Full Security+ access stays free for anyone who signs up during early access.
For teams preparing for cyber security certifications together. Central billing, cohort tracking, shared leaderboards. Join the waitlist to be first when it opens.
For larger organisations, regulated industries, or teams requiring SSO, data-residency, and a signed DPA. Pricing opens alongside the Team plan.

Our first title covers the current version of CompTIA Security+, exam code SY0-701 (90 questions, 90 minutes, scored 100–900 with a 750 pass mark). Lesson structure is aligned to all five official domains and the published objectives.
Webnite is a broader cyber security training platform. The next titles cover CompTIA Network+ and further certifications, built to the same game-based format.
After Security+ ships in full, the roadmap is CompTIA Network+, followed by CompTIA CySA+ and adjacent cyber security and IT certifications. Team customers can also request internal compliance modules (phishing awareness, data handling, AUP training) alongside the certification catalogue.
If there is a certification you would like to see on the roadmap, tell us.
Domain 1 (General Security Concepts) is the current focus. It contains 18 sections, ~106 distinct concepts, and is the foundation layer the rest of the exam builds on. Lesson 1.1 is fully playable; the remaining sections of Domain 1 are being written in order.
Domains 2–5 exist as structured outlines and are scheduled for release on the roadmap in The Realms.
No single resource is enough to guarantee a pass. Webnite is designed as a primary learning tool for exam concepts: story, explanation, gameplay drill, and reinforcement. We recommend pairing it with at least one practice exam bank in the two weeks before the exam.
Webnite's goal is to make the content stick. The question-bank grind is a separate stage.
Team plans provide a shared dashboard: who's signed in, who's progressing, who's stalled. Managers can export a CSV for L&D records. Private Arena pools let cohorts practise against each other rather than the public queue.
Suitable for SOC onboarding, Security+ cohort prep, promotion readiness tracks, and teams under role-based training mandates (UK Cyber Essentials, NIST 800-181, etc.). Get in touch for a tour.
Any modern browser, mobile or desktop. The experience is designed mobile-first, so a single lesson fits on one phone screen with no scrolling or awkward menus. There is nothing to install today. A standalone installable version is planned for our next release.
Webnite is a product of EagerHQ, a UK software studio. The game, the narrative, the illustrations, and the voice are produced in-house. Content is aligned to the published CompTIA Security+ exam objectives.
Yes. Webnite is fully compliant with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. Accounts, progress, and scores are processed and stored in the UK / EU. We do not sell or share learner data with third parties for advertising or profiling.
Learners have the right to access, correct, and delete their data at any time. Enterprise customers can request a signed Data Processing Agreement and specify data-residency requirements.
You can also try Webnite without an account. Sign up only if you want to save progress.

Domain 1, section 1.1, takes about five minutes. No card, no signup required to try it. If it is not for you, close the tab. No hard feelings.
